Build the transaction only after its responsibilities are written

French government guidance describes information and process obligations for covered e-commerce relationships. The client and qualified adviser decide what applies and supply approved identity, terms, consumer, price, tax, cancellation, and dispute content. Faith Forge Labs implements and tests the flow.

Identify the seller and relationship

Record the legal seller, business or consumer audience, product or service, pricing and tax owner, languages offered, contract formation steps, delivery or performance, cancellation or withdrawal, support, disputes, and record retention. Do not infer these details from a generic checkout template.

  • Seller identity and contact
  • B2B/B2C relationship
  • Price, tax, delivery, and cancellation
  • Approved terms and customer information

Design a comprehensible commitment

The interface should show the essential product, total price, recurring nature if any, required information, correction opportunity, and unambiguous final action before commitment. Accessibility, keyboard operation, error association, readable language, and durable confirmation are engineering concerns; the wording and legal sufficiency remain externally approved.

  • Review before final action
  • Clear button purpose
  • Accessible error recovery
  • Durable confirmation route

Keep payment and analytics bounded

Use a client-authorized provider, current documentation, protected credentials, signed callbacks, duplicate-safe handling, refunds, reconciliation, and failure testing. Payment, fraud, analytics, and advertising vendors enter the data and tracker inventory. Production enablement happens only after technical and responsible-owner acceptance.

  • Sandbox and provider approval
  • Idempotent payment state
  • Consent decision applied to tracking
  • Settlement and refund evidence
